Balleste has an unparalleled ability to identify and acquire high value content across diverse genres and regions, delivering outstanding performance metrics and revenue growth. Jorge has over 25 years of experience in Media, and most recently served as the driving force behind Content Acquisitions and Partnerships at TelevisaUnivision. In this role he launched VIX, currently the world’s leading and biggest Spanish-language streaming service. He successfully managed a budget of over $100 million dollars, overseeing content acquisitions across digital platforms, linear networks and formats. Under his leadership, Jorge helped grow ViX’s extensive library to over 80,000 hours of content, working with over 150 partners, including independent producers, content distributors and all the major Hollywood studios. His strategic vision and implementation of efficient workfl ows, contributed directly to ViX’s exceptional user engagement metrics and rapid growth. The acquired content easily surpassed the ROI targets, creating a new revenue stream.
