As Managing Director, Martin is responsible for driving ITV Studios’ ambitious digital business Zoo 55 forwards. Zoo 55 encompasses all of ITV Studios’ FAST, social and gaming content, with a portfolio of 160+ owned and operated channels on YouTube, 18 FAST channels across 17 territories and 100+ platform feeds globally
In his former role as Group Head of Digital at WarnerBros International TV Production, Martin was responsible for developing and implementing the Group’s digital strategy, as well as digital content for brands, broadcasters and streamers. He worked across well known titles such as The Voice, Super Nanny, First Dates and The Bachelor planning and executing the monetisation of IP. He also led the global social media marketing team as they explored new content types, revenue models and ways to reinvigorate and reinvent existing brands.
Prior to this, Martin was Creative Director of Twofour Digital, now part of ITV Studios. He had several roles at the BBC including Head of Cross Platform Production and Comedy and Entertainment Commissioning Executive. He ran the early digital teams for Doctor Who and EastEnders as well as helping develop new formats such as the BAFTA-winning Celebdaq. Martin started working in digital for Uproar, a games company in Budapest in 1999. There he was a producer of the online versions of Family Fortunes and Catchphrase. He was also part of the team that launched the educational channel Teachers TV.
