About me
Michelle Gelman is Global Head of Content and Core Products at Nielsen where she leads
product strategy and execution for both Nielsen’s core currency and next-generation content measurement
and analytics products. Her remit spans U.S. and International Television and Radio Audience
Measurement and the global Nielsen One Content suite.
Previously she was SVP, Product Management for Nielsen’s National TV, Local TV, and Radio
core audience measurement businesses in the U.S., where she led the Big Data + Panel transformation of
the National and Local Television services, expansion of out-of-home measurement, and the launch of
Live Streaming measurement. While serving this role, Nielsen achieved accreditation of both Big Data +
Panel and Live Streaming measurement.
During her tenure at Nielsen, she has worked across Nielsen’s audience measurement products,
with a wide range of experience in TV measurement, digital Measurement, and ad measurement. Michelle
is passionate about providing mentorship and visibility for women within Nielsen. She strives to lift up
more junior women through one-on-one mentorship and career opportunities. Michelle is based in Reno,
Nevada.
