Recognized as the Stream TV Awards' Technology Executive Leader in 2024, Scott Olechowski is the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of Plex, a global community for streaming content that people can depend on to easily discover, experience, and share all of the entertainment that matters to them.
Scott is responsible for product strategy, product management, and business development for Plex’s software and services. A pioneer in streaming media, he co-founded Plex in 2009 with the goal of making organizing and accessing digital media easy and seamless—a mission that remains central to Plex today. Over the past 25 years, Scott has applied his entrepreneurial expertise to several software and internet-focused startups. His professional experience includes executive roles in product strategy, business development, marketing, and international sales with established brands such as Cisco, PostX, and IronPort. He is also an expert in cryptography, holding six issued patents in encryption and authentication.
