About me
Shawn Silverman is the Global Head of Marketing at Pluto TV, leading the brand’s
worldwide creative marketing strategy. In this role, he oversees all facets of marketing
including brand, content, media, events, social, on-air promos, CRM, partner, and product
marketing, driving growth, retention, and engagement across the platform.
Before joining Pluto TV, Silverman spearheaded Program Marketing at Paramount+ and
SHOWTIME, where he led campaigns for a wide range of scripted and unscripted hits such
as 1883, 1923, Tulsa King, Landman, Criminal Minds: Evolution, Lioness, Frasier, RuPaul’s
Drag Race: All Stars, Ink Master, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, The Chi and more.
A 16-year veteran of Paramount Global (formerly ViacomCBS), Silverman has held various
leadership roles throughout the organization including SVP of Consumer Marketing across
multiple cable networks including Comedy Central, MTV, Paramount Network, TV Land,
and VH1. During this time, he led marketing eUorts for iconic franchises such as South
Park, The Daily Show, and Yellowstone.
The work accomplished by Silverman and his team has earned numerous industry
accolades, including the prestigious Cannes Lion Grand Prix Award for Best-In-Show,
Adweek’s Media Plan and Experiential Brand of The Year, Grand Clios for Innovation, and
G.E.M.A.’s (formerly Promax) Creative Marketing Team of The Year.
